DoT allocates numbering level for basic services to Reliance Jio

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) last week in consideration to the request of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited green lighted the allocation of fresh numbering level to the telecom service provider for wireline services in Anantapur SDCA in Andhra Pradesh LSA.

Reliance Jio has been allocated level ’31’ by the Telecom Department for its Basic services for Anantapur SDCA in Andhra Pradesh LSA. DoT intimated the allocation of the numbering level for wireline services to Reliance Jio on 2nd December 2021.

“In consideration to the request of RJIL (Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited) for allocation of numbering level for Wireline Services for Anantapur SDCA in Andhra Pradesh LSA, it is decided to allocate level ’31’ to RJIL for its Basic Services for Anantapur SDCA in Andhra Pradesh LSA,” said DoT in the notice posted on Thursday.

The allocation comes a month after DoT allocated fresh numbering levels to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited for Basic services for Gulbarga & Bijapur SDCA in Karnataka LSA. CT Bureau
