DoT allocates MSC numbering series to VIL in Delhi LSA
The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on Wednesday allocated a fresh MSC numbering series to telecom service provider Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) for providing mobile services in in Delhi service area. The allocation came in consideration to the request of Vodafone Idea Limited to allocated MSC numbering resources.
DoT in consideration to the request of M/s Vodafone Idea Ltd. to allocate MSC numbering resources as a special case to be utilized by Delhi Police for public services, it is decided to allocate additional mobile number series to M/s Vodafone Idea Ltd.
