Datacenter.com CEO Jochem Steman steps down

The CEO of Datacenter.com has stepped down after four years at the firm.

Jochem Steman was one of the founders of Datacenter.com in 2016. According to the company, a replacement has yet to be found and it is unclear where Steman plans to move on to next.

Datacenter.com has been contacted for a comment.

“Friends, colleagues and followers, another chapter closes my career,” said Steman , in a LinkedIn post. “For those who are concerned about me please don’t be – I love Datacenter.com and I am extremely proud of what we have created and accomplished with such an incredible team in such a short time.

In an official statement on the company’s website, Steman said: “It has been a tremendous privilege to serve as the CEO of Datacenter.com. I’ve been with Datacenter.com since the company was founded and I have hugely enjoyed my time at Datacenter.com and found the work extremely fulfilling and rewarding.”

There’s no word on a replacement, or of a new post for Steman. All the ex-CEO said was: “I do believe it is now time to move on to the next stage of my career, to continue pursuing new challenges. I am confident that I am leaving the company both financially and operationally strong at an extremely exciting time in its development and with a very bright future ahead.”

Datacenter.com has three data centers located in Dallas, Singapore, and Amsterdam. The company says the facilities offer customers high capacity colocation based on their power consumption.
