Colt Technology Services announces two executive appointments

Colt Technology Services today announced the appointment of Andrew Edison as Executive Vice President (EVP), Sales, Marketing and Customer Relationship Management and Mark Beeden as Chief of Staff to the CEO, completing the company’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

Edison will take over responsibility for driving Colt’s commercial strategy and leading its global teams across sales, presales, marketing, and customer relationship management. In addition, he will work closely with the wider organisation to ensure Colt delivers on its vision of transforming the way the world works through the power of connectivity.

He was formerly Colt’s Vice President, Global Enterprise, having joined the company in 2018, following a range of executive positions at telecoms companies across EMEA and the US.

Beeden will start as Chief of Staff to the CEO on 1 October. He will support the development of Colt’s business-wide digital and customer experience strategy and work closely with the CEO and other members of the ELT on a range of projects and initiatives.

He has been with Colt since 2012, initially as Chief Marketing Officer and most recently as Vice President, Customer Experience and Service Management. Before joining the company, he held a range of senior positions across the financial services, logistics, FMCG and telecommunications sectors.

Andrew Edison, EVP, Sales, Marketing and Customer Relationship Management, said: “Recent times have shown the importance and power of reliable and agile connectivity, and I look forward to working with our team to leverage Colt’s extensive network, skills and capabilities to help our customers transform and meet sustainability goals.”

Mark Beeden, Chief of Staff to the CEO, said: “It’s an exciting time to become part of Colt’s leadership team as we build on the foundations of inclusivity, sustainability, technology and service to create the next chapter in Colt’s proud history.”

Keri Gilder, Colt’s CEO, said: “These are key appointments for Colt, and means our Executive Leadership Team is now complete. Andrew and Mark will play a critical role in supporting the business, as well as individuals and teams, as we deliver our DNA strategy and build the first and only truly modern telco.”

Recognised as a Visionary in the Gartner 2021 Magic Quadrant for Network Services, Colt also received Frost & Sullivan’s 2021 European Customer Value Leadership Award. The company’s recent industry-leading Net Promotor Scores (NPS) reflect Colt employees’ high motivation, and the Financial Times’ Diversity Leaders list rated Colt first in the telco industry.
