COAI urges that OTT players share tax burden with TSPs

“TSPs pay as much as 38 percent in taxes & levies but there’s zero contribution by OTT players. They should bear some burden like licensing fee as despite earning from Indian users & networks, their revenue is going outside the country”, says Lt Gen Dr SP Kochhar, DG, Cellular Operators Association of India – COAI.
