Circet Acquires Spanish Telecom Construction Company Cableven

Circet, a French-based group specializing in the outsourcing of fixed and mobile network deployment and maintenance services, has bought Spanish telecom construction company Cableven. This follows the acquisition of telecom and transport infrastructure specialist KN Group in October 2018, which expanded the group’s presence in the UK, Irish and Caribbean markets.

With operations in six Spanish regions, Cableven generated EUR 50 million worth of revenues in 2017, representing a three-fold increase since 2015. The company counts Vodafone, Orange and Masmovil among its clients.

Circet has been majority owned by private equity firm Advent International since April 2018. The group counts nearly 6,000 employees and its revenues are expected to reach EUR 1.2 billion in 2018.― Telecompaper
