Ciena to showcase 3nm-based coherent optical solutions at ECOC 2023

Ciena, a global leader in networking systems, services, and software, will be at ECOC 2023 in Glasgow (October 1-5).

At its booth, number 207, Ciena experts will be on-hand to discuss the latest developments in the company’s industry-leading WaveLogic coherent optic technology, including state-of-the-art 3nm coherent DSP advancements. Attendees will also learn about ways operators can leverage the power, cost, and footprint benefits of Ciena’s pluggables across a broader set of applications.

At ECOC 2023, Ciena will also take part in OIF’s largest-ever multi-vendor interoperability demonstration exploring cutting-edge advancements in network technology and seamless interoperability of critical areas such as 400ZR+, Common Management Interface Specification (CMIS), and more. The live and static interoperability demos will be held at OIF’s booth, #304.

• On October 4 at 11:20 – 11:35, Robert Keys, Senior Director, Optical Transmission R&D, will present on Practical Considerations for Achieving Quantum-Secure Optical Networks, in the Market Focus Theatre.
• On October 4 at 15:00 – 15:15, Will Leckie, Senior Manager, Optical Engineering R&D, will present on Evolving Networks to 1.6 Tb/s Transmission and Ubiquitous 800G Networking, in the Market Focus Theatre.
