BSNL launches ‘Starter Pack’, signs MoU with Himachal Govt

It was a special day at Shimla for BSNL fiber broadband partners who celebrated their victory in championship program organized by BSNL. BSNL made it more special by announcement of new services.

BSNL, one of India’s leading TSP, announced the launch of its Over-the-Top (OTT) service Starter Pack in collaboration with Lionsgate, ShemarooMe, Hungama and EpicOn. “Through this innovative combination of high value OTT and competitive pricing, BSNL wants to leverage its vast network infrastructure and strong presence Pan-India to bring affordable OTT entertainment to every home, enabling them to stream their favorite shows, movies, music, and more. Together, these synergies promise to create a comprehensive and economical viewing ecosystem that caters to the growing demand for online content consumption in India” said Shri Vivek Banzal, Director CFA – BSNL Board.

BSNL also announced its upgraded version of MyBSNL mobile app. “The mobile app is going to be the main channel of customer communication and we are evolving this platform to enable zero touch service delivery for our customers.” added Shri Vivek Banzal, Director (Consumer Fixed Access), BSNL Board.

BSNL has covered 30,000 plus Gram Panchayats through its fiber network reach, onboarding more than 3 lakh customers in last six months period. Felicitating its FTTH and Bharatnet Udyami partners at National event in Shimla, CMD BSNL Shri P K Purwar told “Digital initiatives are being taken not only in the urban areas, but also in rural where the technology plays a very pivotal role in improving the quality of life through online education, tele-medicine etc. Completely paperless customer onboarding and KYC process, has helped BSNL and its Udyami partners immensely.” Winners from all the states were invited at this event and honored for their commendable services to the customers across the country.

BSNL also signed a MoU with Govt of Himachal Pradesh today to engage the skilled manpower available with technical institutions in the Himachal Pradesh state for speeding up the BSNL fibre rollout. Himachal Headlines
