BSNL executives seek for return of Rs 38000 crore dues from DoT

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Restricted (BSNL) executives on Saturday met defence minister Rajnath Singh and sought assist with a sooner rollout of the 4G community throughout India together with the return of Rs 38,000 crore from the Division of Telecommunications (DoT). The Rs 38,000 crore that SNEA has requested from the telecom division is on account of the surrendering of broadband wi-fi spectrum (BWA) and pension contribution.

As well as, the executives mentioned that they want authorities help for expediting the land monetisation course of to clear money owed, waive adjusted gross income (AGR) and license charges and opposed any transfer for promoting BSNL owned cell towers and optic fiber community.

Earlier this week, BSNL gave Tata Consultancy Providers (TCS) order value Rs 550 crores to obtain 40-watt radio tools for 6000 websites throughout the nation. The state-run telco is planning to launch 4G networks in a number of elements of India by August 15, 2022.
