Bimal Dayal appointed CEO of Indus Towers

Bimal Dayal has been appointed CEO of Indus Towers Limited (formerly Bharti Infratel Limited). On his appointment, Bimal Dayal posted,

“The combined strength of Indus Towers & Bharti Infratel makes us one of the world’s largest telecom tower companies.

It is a big moment for Bharti Infratel and Indus Towers to reach this huge milestone of bringing together their strengths to create one of the largest telecom tower companies in the world, with a network of 172,094 towers across 22 telecom circles in India. This will also make us the country’s largest Smart City Infrastructure provider, with our cutting-edge solutions already powering the cities of Delhi, Vadodara, Dehradun and Bhopal. We understand that this development is a direct outcome of the trust our customers, partners, vendors, and landlords have continued to place in our services over the years. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone that has played a pivotal role in Putting India First and helping us spur a communication revolution in the country.

Taking this thought further, the combined enterprise will offer greater scale and capabilities in providing world-class shared passive infrastructure services to enable communication across the length and breadth of the country, from the rugged terrain of Jammu and Kashmir to the seacoast of Kanyakumari. It brings us one step closer to our overarching goal of aiding the country in realizing its vision of ‘Digital India’. After all, establishing a resilient telecom infrastructure is a critical step in building a more connected nation.

As leaders of the telecom infrastructure industry, we have always believed that a position of leadership comes with great responsibility towards society. This new enterprise will enable us to further our vision and only re-affirm our commitment to you of providing reliable services with continued excellence, innovation, integrity and consistency.”
