Apple may launch iPad Pro 2022 with MagSafe

It has been a while since the last iPad Pro gen release. So it’s natural to see leaks and evidence appearing for the company’s upcoming products, even though based on pure speculation. So far analysts have been pointing several new features for the 2022 iPads as well as design changes. Today, the latest info comes straight from the new iPad Pro design.

According to the latest round of info from industry sources, Apple is already experimenting with MagSafe implementation on the new iPad Pro 2022. Apparently, Apple is particularly hesitant about swapping out the iPad’s traditional metal back for a glass one. The change would facilitate wireless charging, but the company does not want to hurt its traditional design. So, it seems to have found an alternative. The company will keep the metal back and will add a large glass Apple logo. The same solution is found on the latest MacBook models. The Apple Logo made of glass would be the exact point to charge with the MagSafe wireless charging.

The 2022 iPad Pro prototype has powerful magnets to prevent an accidental detachment. With such small are for charging it’s natural to see the company doing an adjustment in the magnets. The report also suggests that Apple may even use the Magnet mounting system to attach other accessories like keyboards and stands to the iPad in a seamless and clean way. It would help Apple to develop a new kind of keyboard with the ability to charge the tablet. After all, the excessive battery drain when attaching a Magic Keyboard has been a complaint of some users.

Apparently, Apple is also improving the battery on the next iPad Pro, so besides MagSafe charging users will also see an improvement in the overall battery life. The slate will also come with a camera module similar to that on the iPhone 13. In terms of display, the new iPad Pro 2022 is touted to come with a double-stacked OLED display. The device may adopt a notch like the one in the last year’s MacBook lineup, but so far, there has been no evidence for this latter claim. Some reports suggest the arrival of a new Apple M2-powered iPad Pro 2022. That would give the tablet a Macbook-like performance. Gizchina
