Amit Pradhan EVP – Technology Security, Vodafone Idea joins Mandiant Consulting

Amit Pradhan, Executive Vice President – Technology Security, Vodafone Idea, has quit after being with the company for more than five years. He is expected to move out by the end of this month.

Pradhan joined erstwhile Vodafone India Limited (Vodafone UK Group Operating Company) in June 2015 as VP-Technology security. He was responsible for major security and data privacy transformation during his tenure at Vodafone. Subsequently, he was chosen as the CTSO (Chief Technology Security Officer) and Chief Privacy Officer for Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) during the merger of India’s two largest telecom companies Vodafone India limited and Idea Cellular Limited.

Having owned one of the largest security portfolios in the country, comprising of IT security, Telecom Security, Enterprise Security and Data Privacy, he spearheaded one of the world’s largest security integration post merger.

He is now joining Mandiant Consulting, as a director. A US based company, Mandiant Consulting which performs advanced cyber investigation, forensics and incident response. He will report into the regional office in Singapore and look after India and neighbouring countries.
