Akshaya Moondra appointed CEO, Vi

Akshaya Moondra has been appointed as chief executive officer, Vodafone Idea Limited. His tenure is for a period of three years, beginning from August 19, 2022.

He succeeds Ravinder Takkar, as his three-year term concludes on August 18. Takkar would continue to remain a part of the Vodafone Group,
Moondra, is currently VIL’s chief financial officer. His successor has not been named yet.

Moondra has over thirty years of international experience and over 14 years’ experience in the Indian telecom sector.

“We are pleased to welcome Akshaya Moondra as our new CEO. He is well versed with the Vodafone Idea business context, and I am confident that he will successfully steer the company through the next phase of development and help unlock its full potential,” said VIL Chairman Himanshu Kapania.
