Airtel to build one of the largest DCs in East India

“Airtel’s digital ecosystem aims at enabling enterprises to leverage the power of technology and move up their growth curve. We continue to work towards making this massive build of new tech., cloud services, #5G enabled digital platforms accessible to enterprises, startups and end-consumers across the country, irrespective of the size of business or location. Our new 25 MW hyperscale data center in #Kolkata is a step in this direction.

We already have 13 edge DCs in #WestBengal, the new DC in Kolkata will be our first large facility in the city and when ready will be one of the #largest in East India. To be run on clean energy, the hyperscale datacenter is being built on a major investment of INR 600 Cr. and will be interconnected to all large DCs and cable landing stations of #NxtraByAirtel, thus delivering the lowest possible latency & ultra-high-speed network to our customers.
