Airtel, Summit Digitel announce telecom tower infrastructure deal

Summit Digitel announced an agreement with Bharti Airtel to utilize Summit Digitel’s tower infrastructure as part of its wireless network rollouts, the tower infrastructure provider said in a statement.

Summit Digitel manages over 151,000 active sites across the nation.

“We are pleased to partner with Summit Digitel and leverage their passive infrastructure as we expand our high-speed networks across the country. We look forward to a longstanding partnership with Summit Digitel,” said Randeep Sekhon, Chief Technology Officer, Bharti Airtel.

“It is our commitment to provide outstanding services to Airtel that result in uninterrupted service across the entire nation,” said Dhananjay Joshi, MD, and CEO of Summit Digitel.
