Airtel Strengthens its 4G Network in UP (East)

As part of its ongoing network transformation initiative – Project Leap, telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has said that it has upgraded its mobile network in UP (East) with the addition of 5 MHz spectrum in the 1800 MHz band.

The company says that the addition of a fresh 5 MHz spectrum will significantly boost Airtel’s mobile network capacity across UP (East) and enable superior 4G data and voice experience for customers through improved outdoor and indoor coverage. It also said that the customers will be able to seamlessly access video and music streaming, social media and downloads on the go.

Customers across all UP (East) districts to benefit 

The company says that Airtel customers across all the districts of UP (East) will benefit from this deployment. Airtel has also scaled up its mobile backhaul capabilities and extended its fiber backbone which as per the company would ensure a seamless and future-ready network to serve the growing data and voice requirements of its customers.

Shailendra Singh, CEO-UP and Uttarakhand, Bharti Airtel said, ‘To serve the exponential growth in mobile services, in particular, high speed data, we have further fortified our network capacity with this spectrum deployment. As part of Project Leap, the company says that it has been deploying state-of-the-art technology solutions for better indoor coverage and network optimization. It says that it has been overhauling legacy networks with new equipment and making investments in additional spectrum and fiber to significantly improving its network capabilities across the country. – Gadgets Now
