A system upgrade reported as a prepaid service outage at Vi

Vodafone Idea was doing a a system upgrade for a few hours on the night of January 22 to morning of January 23 in its Delhi circle.

This was reported as, “prepaid services being unavailable for a few hours on Sunday.”

The telco has unambiguously said, “We would like to alert our customers to not believe such false news. Vi has only intimated some prepaid users in Delhi circle via SMS about a system upgrade for a few hours. Vi customers across the country can continue to access uninterrupted services.”
