5G India 2018 by Bharat Exhibitions

Building on the success of the first edition of 5G India, Bharat Exhibitions has announced the second edition of 5G India 2018 international conference and exhibition, which will once again bring together telecom industry leaders, policymakers and telecom analysts from around the globe to discuss on the issues and opportunities related to the deployment of 5G, high-speed digital applications and how such a technology would bring change for the better.

The conference will help in ensuring the best awareness of India’s vison, mission, and objectives to attain 5G proficiency and self-sufficiency in consonance with High Level Government Forum (HLGF) on 5G. The main conference is scheduled on May 18, 2018 at The Leela Mumbai and planning to showcase the strengths, advantages, and benefits of 5G through live demos/interactions on May 17, 2018

The objective of the 5G India 2018 conference is to spread awareness of the capability and benefits of 5G to any and all sectors be it education, agriculture, manufacturing, or health to attain the goals of Digital India as per the vision and mission of Government of India – outlining India’s ambitions to position itself as not just as a consumer but a leader in 5G.

The 5G India 2018 is being supported and endorsed by Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications; Telecommunications Standards Development Society, India (TSDSI); 3GPP; Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI); Centre of Excellence in Wireless Technology (CEWiT); and Tower & Infrastructure Providers Association (TAIPA). Broadband India Forum as the knowledge partner of the event.

The conference is expected to attract 400 plus business audience representing key industry stakeholders such as operators, government agencies, regulator/policy enablers, technology companies, equipment and handset OEM’s, VAS providers, international experts, and consultants on a common platform to discuss and debate and work on actionable, relevant, and structured framework for deployment of 5G networks across India.
