Manoj Punja is new Wipro BPO head |

Manoj Punja has been appointed as the global head of Wipro BPO. Punja will report to T.K. Kurien, CEO, IT Business and executive director, Wipro Ltd. He takes over from Manish Dugar who has decided to move on to pursue interests outside of Wipro. Before he took over as the global head of Wipro's back-office business, Punja was Wipro's chief sales and operations officer for Latin America and focus countries. Wipro's BPO operations have seen growth reduced by 8.4 percent year on year. In comparison, competitors like TCS have seen year on year growth of 28.2 percent in the BPO business. — Communications Today Bureau
